Lifted our first spuds at the weekend. Went for the 'Isabelia' (aka Pembrokeshire early from the dregs of a shop-bought bag) as these have the shortest growing time of our lot.
Enough for 4-5 individual portions from one plant so not a bad haul for 76 days since planting (blurb online says 80-90 days to harvest).
Nice texture - firm but not too firm. Very thin skin.
Flavour-wise, opinions are divided here. OH raved 'ooo, lovely'. I thought they were nice but the flavour was very mild to me.Location: SE Wales about 1250ft up
