  • Help please, I've lost my man

I was given a great little tool called a "Man" which was a little wooden wedge that was used to clean your spade as you worked. Unfortunately I seem to have lost it while digging on Wednesday. I've Googled my heart out but can't find a replacement. Can anyone suggest where I might but one?

The Organic Gardening Catalogue used to sell them, that's where I got mine. Sadly, despite repeated requests, they haven't sent me a catalogue this year so I don't know if they still stock it and I hate looking on-line it's just not the same as sitting by the fire and choosing, even if I do eventually do the ordering via the net.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

You can have my old man! How much do I have to pay you?

I tried jogging, but I couldn't keep the ice in my glass.

I usually use an old narrow paint scraper and find it doe's an excellent job.

I think this months issue of GW had a step by step guide to making one or you can buy in Tesco a big plastic ice scraper (not those cheap ones with a foam bit on) Think they are about a £1 or something. Looked quite sturdy!
