Well I'm north and we get alot of rain so it may be happy then.

I am to the east of the peak district so we are to some extent shielded from some of the winter wind.
I am going to put some more stones in the soil in the same corner of the spud patch.
It the seed is strong enough to crack the stone it is strong enough to grow on.
