since everyone is probably planning for next year I thought
post some historical garden plans that will hopefully inspire
everyone. if you all like this one I will post others.

That's one heck of a big plot to have no paths of any description! I suppose in those days they trod all over the soil and then dug it in the autumn. Interesting how things change.

Penellype 10 yards wide and 30 yard long is just the standard 10 rod plot..
(30 ft wide x 90 ft long and total of 2700 sq ft) and (9.114 m wide x 27.432 m long
and total of 250.015 sq m).

there is also a lot of space between rows. if you look at scale diagram
of the first one and diagram that follows you would be shocked and how much
empty unused space there is I am working on scale diagrams for both
and will post them when i get chance. since doing it takes bit time to do graphicly
to show the scale plant spacing and plant sizes..
