Fantastic, Bren. I've got some of those. And I can keep them on a very cool but not freezing windowsill. Brilliant.

I'll be interested in how your Raab do Bren. I tried a much later sowing (like June/July time) & they bolted on me but I'd imagine yours will fair better sown now x
edit to add I looked back at the old thread and I sowed on 1 Aug 23 so later than I thought

Thanks Lottie, those Rabbe 60 seeds were from last years GYO mag so thought I’d give them a go.

Set some sweet peas to chit in wet kitchen towel, since I've only got 3 out of 30 from the 14th Feb sowing. Also sowed Cucumbers Beth Alpha, Telegraph and Louisa, since I've got plenty of those. The one's I've got fewer of can wait a bit. Sowed all of my old remaining Egyptian mint seeds, they've got two chances! Finally mixed up two varieties of parsley seeds and set them to soak.

Broccoli raab is quick to produce but what I remember is be quick to harvest too because it grows so fast it’ll bolt so fast too. A good one to repeat sow because it will be all harvested soon

I haven't bought any seeds for a couple of years I've sowed some old (very old) tomato seeds today, 6 different varieties. If they fail to germinate, I'll buy some new. I only want about 6 plants, so we'll see

I've been successful in the past with old seed Containergardener , but one variety is 6 years old, so my expectation is low!

When you are worried about old seeds if I remember correct there was someone grew prize onions from seeds that he had in a jacket pocket for seven years, there was also a report that seeds found in a dig of Herods palace in Judea germinating Im quite sure one of the Mods will be familiar with whatever the seeds were😏
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
