  • What I harvested today 2025

A new thread for a New year.

Here's last years thread for comparison: https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...vested-in-2024

All of the remaining leeks. Most of them had allium leaf miner festation on the outer leaves, but not as badly as the first ones I harvested before Christmas. The affected parts were bagged up and put in the dustbin and the good bits that weren't in tonight's risotto are in the fridge.
Location:- Rugby, Warwckshire on Limy clay (within sight of the Cement factory)

The rest of the leeks. Absolutely loads of them, and not one going woody nor any sign of leek miners either! That’s a first

Smallish cauliflower about the size of a large grapefruit
Some small August sown carrots although they're starting to get a bit hairy now, so are clearly keen to start growing again
                Jerusalem artichokes
                Cavolo nero
Last of the Radicchio although had to go a long way into it to find edible leaves
                Are y'oroight booy?
