yes i know its me again
having finally got past the earlies , second earlies and main croppers bit by totally ignoring it
i am stuck on chitting, i know there are threads on it , but some say in the light, some say in the dark and i am all confused again, so :
I was shopping in co-op this morning and they had nice baby news two types and i always buy them, cos we like them but we never eat them all, so i want to keep some to grow on.
I have:
maris peer
corrolle
TS sent me Pink Fir ( these don't need chitting)
and some plain un named whites which may or may not be called 'melody' ( they don't label their stuff very well)
now the whites have chitted already, in the dark and are no in an egg box with the lid closed, is this right? and should i move them somewhere cold now until i am ready to plant them?
the maris peers and corrolle are in egg boxes with the lids open on the kitchen window sill , is that right, do they stay in the light until they chit?
do i keep the pink fir in the dark/cold till ready to plant?
be specific please, you know how confused i get over this potato thing!!!!
