not sure if garlic's a gonna?

my small garlics are about 6inches high already - I dont know if thats a good thing as I planted mine pretty late last year and they did ok. Also my Elephant garlic is just all roots at the mo. - Im sure it'll all work out!

Planted my garlic in October together with japanese onion sets. Onions have come up beautifully - all at least 6" high and pretty much gave up on garlic - to the point of nearly buying some more, but when I checked the other day was so chuffed that all the garlic had begun to come through!!

Tried to pull one of my elephant garlic bulbs to see what was happening (maybe rotted or eaten by something?) and couldn't move it!!! Think hopefully it has rooted. Ok, so i'm a little bit impatient........
