    I have put manure on my plot where I want to grow my potatoes, it has been there a couple of months do I start to dig it in when the ground has defrosted will it be ok to put my seed potatoes there.
    Last year I didnt get any manure so this is the first time I have used any.
    Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
    and ends with backache

    Yes that should be ideal for your spuds if the manure is well rotted and worked into the soil. It should provide a good base for your spuds to grow in and provide plenty of feeding.

      ooo thanks for answering so quick !!! As soon as it thaws I will be down there digging it in, it was fresh when I put in on late oct early nov.
