I like my system (although I've never yet used it!) it tells me exactly when to plant - I sometimes need a bit of bossing and holding back (but if you tell Mr T I shall deny it).
however it will still be interesting to see what your system says for the same days? so we can see a comparison.Vive Le Revolution!!!'Lets just stick it in, and see what happens?'Cigarette FREE since 07-01-09

Am following Gardening and Planting by the Moon by Nick Kollerstrom (which I bought after a grape mentioned it recently) - is it OK if I join in with you as well?My hopes are not always realized but I always hope (Ovid)

Thanks for setting up the group, I'm looking forward to trying a bit of this - if it fits in with my generally wet and windy weather
I was given a copy of R J Harris’s “Moon Gardening” a while back and took loads of ideas from it but never got round to the moon time planning, sowing and planting bit, so its something I’ve wanted to try since reading the book.
Any help and encouragement is great and I'm sure it will work both ways for everyone.
Just to stick my pin on the board as another generally sceptical guy - I’d stick my money on Moon gardening everytime, rather than the staged NASA moon landing – everyone can see the shadows were in the wrong place in the photos
KCJiving on down to the beach to see the blue and the gray, seems to be all and it's rosy-it's a beautiful day!

I sincerely applaude this thread, and too where it will lead, with the fun and excitement that you'll all have along the way, it'll be fab.
I won't be able to join you often, but I hope that when I do, that I'll be welcome.
Personally, I'm convinced that gardening in this direction, is in the right direction.

Just joined this exciting group. I haven't tried any moon planting before, but was bought a book all in French for 2009 ("Jardiner avec la Lune" by Alice Delvaille) for my birthday. I have started trying to follow it so this group will help this dummy understand more about what he is trying to do. The only problem is - how do I get in to the garden when it is saturated with rain????

I've just joined because I'd like to know more and to give it a go. My Spanish friend who is a keen gardener and THE most conservative and sceptical person you're likely to meet said "Moon Planting? - yes, deffinately - my Grandmother swore by it". So, if Francesca is for it who am I to argue.
