Our sprouts were doing great, just come in from the garden to post this SOS. There are white powdery blobs on the leaves and, shock horror, on the sprouts. It's not white fly, it's almost like white soot!!!. Probably not a good description but we are very new to this. Can anybody help - we were so proud of our sprouts. Apart from this they look good, standing tall, little sprouts appearing, strong plants. I'll love forever whoever cures them.

Hello Ger-Annie_um, I've had a look in the good Dr H Vegetable Expert and he says Sprouts are particularly susceptible to white rust. He only suggests removing and burning affected parts and thinning plants to let more air circulate between them. I do hope yor sprouts will be ok. We all hate to loose anything we've grown.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Can you rescue a few sprouts which are OK and freeze them??
