  • Empty Beds

Looking at my plans I've realised I'm going to have an empty bed - I'm going to have 2 brassica beds, one of which will contain spring and winter cabbage. As these don't go in until July for winter and Sept/October for Spring [Please correct me if I've got this wrong ] - what could I plant that's quick growing in this bed that would be out in time for the cabbage to go in? Thanks

Winter Onions, Broad Beans or how about some Spring bulbs for cut flower?

I grow Super aquadulce (it's available from HDRA & a local shop to me ) which is a re-selected form but I guess the ordinary ones are OK
