Padron Addict
I would recommend Pimiento de Padron, if you harvest them when they are about an inch long you can fry them whole with some olive oil and flakey sea salt, very popular in spanish tapas and absolutely delicious. When the fruits are small they have no heat apart from the occasional one ( bit like chilli russian roulette!) very easy to grow and if you keep picking the small fruits they will continue cropping over a very long period. Im growing 50 plants this season in my polly tunnel, we are addicted to them! Plus if you leave the chillis to mature on the plant they will go red and all develop good heat so a great all round plant.
