And I'm sowing more in about half an hour, once the OH has done the washing up.

I did my tomatoes and peppers last week. Tomatoes are up, but no sign of the peppers yet.

I have a half day off on Friday because it's POETS day!

Haven't heard that one for a while Snadger (probably 'cos I'm retired!)

No POETS day in healthcare :-(

All I have sown are Onions and Sweet Pea - 'cause no leccy in the greenhouse, no space in the house and I'm too tight to pay for paraffin at the moment!

I don't pay for paraffin either - me little contribution to carbon saving. Only got onions in so far. Things will change at the end of this month and I'll have a few peppers in.

Besides the early tomatoes and chillies inside, I've got carrots, onions, turnips and spinach, germinated inside, then put into the unheated greenhouse under fleece. They seem to be growing even with the cold weather, but whether they'll make veg is another matter.
Mushrooms growing in my mushroom kit under the stairs too
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
                      Now a little Shrinking Violet.

We only have our Cauliflower seedlings at the moment.
Everything else that we want to grow this year doesn't need sowing until March/April.

Sowed some aubergine, peppers and chillies last weekend but nothing through yet. Next set of sowing will be mid to end of Feb for me.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
