We eat lots and lots of carrots - its the one veg the kids really DO like. Why then, when I study my seed stock list, do I only have one packet and yet several packets of nearly everything else! Looks like someone will have to get some carrot seed when next in Tescos or the like eh!

Got some seeds from lidl last year very cheaply! I'm still eating them direct from the ground as required now and they are lush!
Can't remember the name though ........they are a huge tasty carrot!

FD, there are some catalogues which sell 'large grower packs', King's and Dobie's being two, and you can buy seeds of those things you grow tons of in larger quantities at a much reduced price. Sweetcorn in our case, especially this year as we'll have the chickens to 'treat' too.Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.Comment
