Butter beans

Butter beans aka Lima beans. Gonna try growing the Henderson bush variety this year, but they do need a long season and warm weather I think.

There is a white seeded runner bean (Czar) that are like butter beans (which make chocolate biscuits if mixed with breadcrumbs!!). Czar runner bean seeds are available through The Organic Gardening CatalogueLast edited by multiveg; 08-02-2009, 07:48 PM.
