Hi, I am thinking of getting an electric propagator to enable a head start on seedlings, but wondered what sort to get. Any advice or observations gratefully received. Paul

I have ordered one from Garden4less who advertise at the top of these pages. It was the 7 compartment that should fit along my windowsill. I did alot of shopping around and this did seem to be the best value, however there was a thread over the weekend with a tip off for one from B&Q. Good luck.Tammy x x x x

If you are at all good at DIY I would go for a soil warming cable and thermostat if the funds can stand it. Many years ago I started with a propagator but would need a dozen to equate to the hot bench I have just finished making. I still do use a propagator for a few months.
