Again, if you have a place warm to start them, a few climbing french beans grown in big pots can be started now and moved into a heated greenhouse or tunnel or kept on a windowsill.

Come April time they can go into an unheated greenhouse or tunnel but will need fleece protection if frosts occur.

They will crop from May.
