I suppose you could use hamsters to heat a greenhouse, take an awful lot of hamsters though, I bet they burn at the rate of twenty an hour.

Nip off the pea shoots and use them in salads - they're delicious, very fashionable and very expensive. Then sow some more in a few weeks to transplant outside.
