Thanks, Womble. It looks interesting and I'll watch it when I have a little more time and I can get these dratted speakers working.Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Thanks for the link, Womble - I watched it last night. Very interesting and inspiring - though I'm not sure that permaculture would be feasible on my tiny plot! Still, it's made me even more determined to pursue Charles Dowdings' no-dig method and nurture my soil, and to plant lots of flowering herbs to attract insects
