I've got about 12 cloves of Cristo in pots indoors at the moment. I only planted them a couple of weeks ago but the change in temp from the fridge to the windowsill has made them shoot up like buggery. I'll plant them out in the next couple of days.

Mine are normally lifted and left to dry out from about late June, dependant on the weather.
The largest ones are plaited up to store hung in a cool dry place and then replanted split down into cloves about mid October.
The harvesting and planting would be slightly different dependant on where you are.I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.
