Carrot Paris Market - watering routine

I have just stuck my Paris Markets in a patio container.
How often do they need watering?
There's no indication in the instructions.
Is it just a matter of making sure the soil doesn't dry out, or are they sneaky buggers?

yes keep the soil moist or the roots will split.
