Beetroot or Weed

How topical...I just bought Grow Your Own tonight and in the April edition, there's a picture of that exact weed, the articles called How To Identify Weed Seedlings, and that, according to the picture is a cleaver leaf, which is a weed.
<slaps palms together to a job well done...>
