Always struggle with this. I either put it in too early and it dies or put it in too late and....... it dies??? :-(

Have been going off the advice here this year as I can put my location in and it handily works out the dates for me for the different veg they have guides for:
How to grow vegetables articles and pictures
I ended up leaving a lot of things a bit late last year as I wasn't sure when would be safe to start sowing, so am hoping this will work better.

First proper year of growing, and I'm trying to - although I may have missed a couple of repottings. What I realised is that I didn't pay enough attention to how many seeds I popped into the propogator so am not really sure about the germination rate. TBH though, I doubt I'm ever going to start counting the little bitty seeds. Squash and cucumber, fine, easy peasy, but some of the others?? Nah....
Do people keep a track of weather in the journal as well? Or just the nasty late cold spells???

We keep a small site (link in sig) and log info about what we grow and when. Then we weigh the produce at the end of the season to see what we have.
We have just been looking at last years log to see when it's time to sow this year.
We will start to sow everything in about 1-2 weeks.
