i sowed loads of seeds late last month, most of which have come through and looking ok, however, i planted some cauli snowball and none of them have come up. does anyone know how long they take to germinate? my all year round have come through but fancied trying some other varieties just to find one that i can grow successfully.

Brassica seed tends to keep fairly well and is usually good to keep for a few years so it isn't likely to be the seed itself. If the growing conditions are the same as the all year round then it is probably a case of being a bit more patient.

Cauli's
Hi,
I planted some F1 Purple Graffitti (For my 5yr old) about a week ago, came up quicker then the beetroot (by 1 day). Planted about 1cm-2cm deep. Came up in about 5-7 days.
Heated greenhouse does not get below 15 degrees, maximum greenhouse temperature 20 degrees, planted in root trainers.
Not had any experience with other varieties.
