hi anthony and welcome to the Vine!

Have you seen this months GYO magazine? there is an excellent article called " ground rules" which gives lots of helpful advice regarding what to do with your ground at the moment.

Also, there is an article about "green manures" - I'd heard of them, and also read about them on the Vine, but until I read the article, hadn't really considered using them!

Guess who's ordered her "green manure" seeds and is eagerly awaiting their delivery?!

    Hope this helps! DDL

Lol DDL, I said that, but being as Mr Dobby is from Yorkshire and is a tad thrifty (to say the least) and gets staff purchase from Tescos it means he can get it cheaper from work, or so he recons! Lol! Men!

Got a flyer from Ken Muir the other day and if you ring 01778 392497 or web site www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/KM.HTM and quote GYO KM/06 you get to subscribe for £7.25 for every 3 issues you get a free £15. Runs until the end of the year so am thinking of going for it - saves me a trip to the newsagent.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
