I have sown spring onions into modules (roughly 4 seeds per module) of multi-purpose compost. Some of them are coming up well but lots of them are copming up all twisty. The root seems to be pushing the plant out of the soil rather than it growing down into the soil. Can anyone tell me why? Is the soil too compacted, should I have sown them a bit deeper? I intend to sow a coulpe more batches in the next month or two so would be great to correct my mistakes now!
I've attempted to atach a picture so youm might be able to see what I mean!
Cheers!
