    Hi Grasser,
If you update your profile with your location to let us know what part of the world you are in. Depends on where you live but I have planted carrots and beetroot already, also Onions, garlic, kale, cauliflower and cabbage, all the rest is in pots on windowsills or in a unheated greenhouse

Do they have to be under cloches? I was hoping to do some seed sowing this weekend because with any luck my raised beds will be finished tomorrow. FINALLY!!!

You may have to nip out and cover with fleece or cloche if the weather turns for the worse.

I am over in Leeds, I have an allotment so its not quite so easy to protect them from frost.
I am planting all I can in trays and small pots.

I have some carots, radishes and beetroot in a raised bed with fleece. Radish is already up after 10 days or so.

Hi John, I'm in Bingley and have just got a share in an allotment. Also growing some stuff at home, veg and fruit. I'm with F.Green on your question.

We've got nothing planted out at the moment on the lottie as we're still digging over and weeding. So everything has been sown in pots so far. Brassicas and some root veg. Done some potatoes in pots at home and sown tomato seeds, but everything else I'm waiting till beds ready and this brief cold, windy spell is over. Seeds are either in my spare bedroom out of direct light (south facing) and with no heat (radiator turned off). Others are in greenhouse.

Just pricked out some seedlings sown 19 March today. If weather improves, potatoes and alliums will be in first. Rest will be hardened off over next couple of weeks ready for planting out mid April onwards, weather permitting.

Let us know how you get on.
