I was given 2 tiny dahlia plants the other day and they look decidedly mushy this morning after a couple of cold nights, have to see what they look like later.

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either. -
My toms are mostly in an unheated greenhouse and doing really well. The ones I had outside were looking sorry for themselves on Sat, but the pots are too big to put indoors/in coldframe/in greenhouse. I covered them with shredded paper (and hoover emptyings, as I forgot that was in the same bag, oops!) then covered all that with a plastic sheet. Haven't dared look since then, but am hoping that will offer enough protection!Comment
