You need to make sure the wood is a snug fit or the carton won't stay upright.

I'm afraid a frosty night in that growhouse will see them off. I don't leave beans in my unheated greenhouse overnight.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

I have no room to bring a pot in so it will be a case of lesson learned if they die on me.

Fleece will help with a slight air frost but I've even had plants damaged in a cold greenhouse when there's a real ground frost. And we can still get those for a month or two (or more depending where you live!)Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

I think I will just keep my eye on Metcheck.com - UK Weather Forecasts - Live Data - Long Range Weather Forecasts for frosty nights and bring them indoors if it forecasts a bad night. They tend to be really accurate.

It's not just frost 21, they don't like being cold.
If I were you, I would scrap them, and start again. Really. It'll just be heartbreaking to spend any more time on them just to lose them anyway. All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.
