all germinated well, and all a few inches tall but i decided it was time to put them into individual pots to give them the room to get strong... that was earlier today, tonight they are all looking sorry for themselves, do u think they will recover? they are inside on windowsill in a warm room. cucumbers seem to be loving the extra room though!

Seedlings often wilt a bit when potted on. Keep them out of the sun tomorrow, make sure they are watered and they will probably be fine. Even my big ones wilted a bit earlier, but they look fine now. You can see them in the thread below.

This morning they are looking a bit perkier, gonna keep them indoors today ( bit overcast outside anyway ) I usually put them out for an hour each day to get some sun, funnily enough i put some of the weaker seedlings outside in the plastic growhouse 2 days ago and they are suddenly not so weak anymore???

I tend to start seeds like that off in individual newspaper pots these days so that they can be potted on without disturbance but the first time I grew stuff and pricked them out properly I was mortified that the tomatoes in particular all looked like they were lying down to die. They tended to perk up by the next day though so probably nothing much to worry about.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I had a pepper that wasn't doing too well so i pulled it up and it still had roots on it that looked good, so I popped it in the raised bed outside the kitchen door.
It's now doing fine.
Interesting! It's been out 3 days and nights so far.

usually my compost is outdoors, but i got a small bag the other day and carried it through the house rather than straight out to garden.... its been sitting in dining room!! so compost would have been room temperature, most of them seem fine now, just 1 tomato plant looking withered, i got 7 plants all seemingly healthy so 1 loss is no biggie.

I usually put them in the shade for 24 hours - not in a cold place - in the house. That gives them time to get accustomed.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
