Easter weekend for me is the time I sow my seeds!
Traditionally it was the only time we had 4 days off work and could concentrate on this job.
...all windowsills cleared...off to the garden centre for potting compost and any extra seed trays ( and the odd spare packet of seeds)..and getting stuck in!!
Nice feeling when everything is up and running!

....and yup- it's piddling it down over here too!

I know the feeling geoff, I'm contemplating which one of these to do.

Sow some seeds and chuck them in a propagator? Take plants outside to harden off in the rain? Take some cuttings of soft growth from rosmary and lavender. Clean the shed? Clean the greenhouse? Clean the house (once everything else has been done of course.)

I might even go to the lottie to watch the water drain into the water butt.

        Have fun!

We have had a new tap fitted this morning, and are spending the afternoon jetwashing the decking...great job to do in the rain as you get wet anyway.

Well the shed is in need of a good sort out & the oh keeps asking me to put the xmas decs in the loft (only been 4 months)
Repotting my seedlings sounds the winner to me but the minute i see a break in them clouds im off down the plot!!!
            Happy easter all

I've been potting up some kohlrabi and cucumbers in the greenhouse. I'll take some pictures and update my blog.

Why not just go to the pub, relax, and prepare yourself for the coming months?

We bought a jet wash a few weeks ago, we bought the cleaning fluid and when we got home I set about setting it up. I had primed dh to move my pots.... and then. Doh! I read 'attach your water supply' - What water supply?? I hadn't realised that the water came from a hose pipe - which we haven't got (I know it sound odd but we don't - I water from a can, about 13 of them in the hight of summer and it keeps me fit). So, this weekend we'll be out buying a hose. Luckily we do have an outside tap. I can't wait to clean up that horrible concrete patio and see what it looks like.

I like to think a picture says a lot more than words.

I abandoned the cider idea, I've made apple wine instead which is nicely maturing ready for atumn winter drinking!

Oh and thanks for the nice comments.

Sunny here all day so far, although my sister 8 miles away has had showers.
