    How early did you plant 2sheds???
    I don't even think about planting seeds until Easter...my leeks are still in their packets!!!
    Just start again..... ( then you'll be in my time -zone!!!! )

      hi 2sheds a while since I nattered to our member of the month. You seem to have revived an old thread here.

      I assume all these are last years plants and so its natural that they run to seed in the second season although it is brought on a bit by the hot dry weather. This is why its called the hungry gap! I'm sorry you hate frozen veg.

      We are living on asparagus and our neighbours psb. loo's a bit smelly- trying to conserve water- no rain here for two months now

        Two of my new Rhubarb plants have bolted very early. I cut off the flower stalks and watered and watered and gave them a little feed of bonemeal. They seem quite happy now. When they are big enough, I'll give them a light dressing of well matured equipoo. The older Rhubarb plants are growing quite happily with no problems. I dont think the early warm dry spell has helped the garden at all.
        I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!

          All of my cut and come again have bolted over thw weekend, out to buy more seeds then!

          Seriously though is there anything I can do to stop it happenig again, it is only April!!
