Saxon Taties

anyone grown these?? found some chittin away in the bag of the cupboard that i had bought in tesco a cpl of months ago...wondered if they were worth potting in a cpl of sacks...did a search but nothing came up...

A neighbour on allotment(well a couple across) grows 3 rows of these(out of about 15), so should be ok & anyway, nothing ventured - nothing gained. If you have the space must be worth a try.

I grew Saxon (Tesco ones) last year, along with about 7 other varieties, but my labels all disappeared so I can't report back about how good they were.

I grew saxon last year. It was my intention to use them as a boiling/salad potato but I found that they made brilliant chips!!
