i'm quite good, only 2 varieties of carrots and brussels the rest only 1. But this is my first year at growing veg properly so we shall see. Once the raised beds are built who knows. Oh forgot about the sweet peas about 7 of those.

Are we only talking toms and inside at the moment lol? I have about 25 plants - roughly 6 varieties, but lots more inside and in the greenhouse etc etc. Mr C claims that the plants inside are blocking out the sunlight. I don't agree

Fifty different chillies! You must really like hot stuff Mrs Jackson.

                        I have

Gardeners Delight (wombles variety, saved the best tasting seed for a few years)
                        Ferline
Purple ukraine (zazan saved seed, looking really good btw)
                        Garden pearle.
                        San Mizano
                        Sactolone

I think that's it, it's not about the different types, it's the amount of fruit on each one that counts
"Orinoco was a fat lazy Womble"

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.

                          Golden Sunrise
                          Black Krim
                          Green Zebra
                          Black Cherry
                          Tigerella
                          French Black

I've managed to cut right back this year and have kept a mazimum of 8 plants of each - of course I only have room in the greenhouse for 2 of each, but that's not really the point is it? If it germinates and it's growing, I feel obliged to pot it on - after all the effort the seed has made to actually break out! And I've decided not to grow any outdoor this year - between the weather and blight last year it was just too disappointing - and I ended up with tomatoes everywhere, the watering took ages!

btw - I grew Black Cherry last year and they were lovely - tasty, prolific and they cropped for ages - even after I'd stopped watering and left them to their own devices at the end of the season.
Life is too short for drama & petty things!
So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!

                            and a few more I can't remember

i am a bit obsessed with growing my own tomatoes you know. Gawd knows where exactly i am going to put them all though.

Tomatoes-I planted 10 seeds from each variety but the germination rate is different.I just want to check if I manage to grow any of them outdoors.I have 6 varieties:

                              Costoluto Fiorentino(anybody grew them?)
NimbusF1(forgotten seeds from about 3 years back-germinated no problem)
                              Aurora
                              Grushovka
                              Tigerella (from seed swap)
                              Gardener's Delight

I'm also a bit of a cuke enthusiast so I have 4 varieties:

                              Burpless Tasty F1
                              Parisian Pickling

                              Bedfordshire Prize

                              Beetrot-another favourite:

                              Crimson King
                              Detroit
                              Chioggia(curiosity)

I also love growing flowers from seed but this is for another thread
