Me too - I really only need 2 plants, but this year I bought a pack of mixed seed (yellow, green and "white"). Of course I had no idea which was which so I had to plant them all, didn't I???

We've still got 5 jars in the fridge, and one big one opened and had them on pizza tonight. Bally gorgeous and still crisp as anything.

Its worth growing courgettes just to be able to make that pickle.

I have not successfully grown squashes yet, I couldnt get them to germinate.
Chillis is my best success this year, along with lettuce and toms.

However I am quite obsessed with the idea of growing aubergines, as I didnt have any luck with them either....next year fingers crossed.

I also LOVE growing strawberries and have added another 18 plants around the garden for next year...

Always had a thing for chillies, but after this season, I need more Chard, cavolo nero and pakchoi,

I tried jogging, but I couldn't keep the ice in my glass.

Let a couple go to seed and you'll never be without it again. I have about 40 plants dotted around my lotty, all different colours too

I'm with PB on this one - my obsession is pumpkins and squashes - mainly because they do so well on my plot.

I think my obsession is potatoes, although I only grow 3 varieties - just lots of them!! I think squash are another one, but I'll stick to my favourites next season. Wasn't impressed with the Yellow Scallops or Pumpkin. Cobnuts are an underrated classic. Ooh and onions! Have only put in 100 this weekend, but I am imposing on someone else's plot, or else it would be the usual 250!
