Can I grow radish on my windowsill?

I'm looking for something to grow on a windowsill -its a really sunny spot. I'm going to film it on our webcam for the website so I need something that will grow fairly quickly but won't get too big. I've never grown radish before -will it get too hot inside for it? Help!

They may just be ok if out of direct sun,keep moist or they will split

I've got some in a hanging basket....they are doing much better than the ones in the ground!! so i'd say yes u can grow in window box
