  • What to grow in strawberry bags please?

    ....APART from strawberries of course!

A friend of mine gave me two of those strawberry patio bags a few weeks ago but I already have a strawberry bed and dont want to dig up all my strawb just to put in them.

Does anyone have any ideas what i can do with them instead please?

    Many thanks

in my opinion - they're rubbish, pass them on to someone else!

Honestly, you can never seem to get the watering right. Pour water in the top and it just runs out of all the holes.

I agree, they're rubbish. I've even tried them with stawberries, what they are meant for. You just can't get the watering right.

I suppose you could always give tumbling toms a go in them with some water retaining gels, maybe treat them more like a hanging basket?

oh dear I have 2 all set up with strawberries

I read and idea where you stacked pots on top of each other, the pots getting smaller as you go, and then planted the strawberries around the edges. I was going to try that for the others I have ... has anyone done this?
