Mine is definitely the sowing of seeds, and seeing them germinate.![Smile](https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/grapevine/core/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I do enjoy the ongoing "care and maintenance" of the plants too, but sometimes it feels like a bit of a chore.![Frown](https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/grapevine/core/images/smilies/frown.gif)
And harvesting is brilliant, except that I eat veg mostly because I know I should not because I want to - with the exception of tomato and basil salad, which I could happily live on.
(and beetroot and red cabbage are good, too.)
But for me nothing beats the initial thrill of seeing those first signs of life.
What does it for you?
Oleander
