North facing garden (gone wild) with leaning GH against house (west wall) with fence on the other side. Behind GH is a garage (2 ft space) and a semi-detached house over the fence (spaced ~3 ft from fence). Is the GH any good for anything or would it be outdoor pots? I would like to grow veg (toms, greens, corgettes, herbs, squash, peppers?)

It's surprising how much things can catch the sun. I've a small lean to plastic greenhouse on our roof terrace. There is a wall behind it, about 8' away opposite, and another about 4' to the left. It still catches quite a bit of sun though. Adding kitchen foil (or similar) to the sides which are against something solid helps bounce the light around and make the most of it.

Well woth a go at some tomatoes. I know you need a good bit of sun to get sweet succulent tomatoes, However even without enough sun you will get better tasting tomatoes than from the supermarkets and at least you will know how they have been grown.
