Planted some last week so hope it's OK! Never grown them at this time of year but love broad beans so am hoping to get some earlier in the season next year.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Yep, Aquadulce Claudia is one of the standard over wintering one. The only problem you may have is with mice nicking the seeds Also they'll benefit from a bit of protection in the depths of winter (fleece or a cloche)

Mine were sown in modules a couple of weeks back and are about 4" high now and really need to go in. I think they're the same as yours Bex: aquadulce claudia? This variety tends to be the variety recommended for over-wintering. Never done it before though, so we can live and learn together!

Thanks all, knew i'd get the name wrong. I think I might sow mine straight in the ground Waffler, so we will definately see how it goes.
