I knew I had a few 'volunteer' toms leftover from last years windfalls. After a few days of real April showers and sunshine, I went to the garden today and there must be over a hundred of them
It seems a shame to just chuck them - but I already have 25 tom seedlings on the go in the cold frame.
I don't even know what variety they will be (I had mostly marmande and cerise - but there were others too).
I will be putting brassicas in the bed this week and so they have to go soon. I do have a bit of space in some rough ground behind my fenced plot - I may stick them there and see what happens.
If you are passing, pop in and help yourselves
