Been clearing the shed a bit and found a plastic basket type thingy, its 10cm deep..... do u think if i line it with empty compost bag that i might be able to grow carrots in it? i like to pick them as baby carrots and thought this might be the perfect depth..... what do u think?

Yes, Parmex will be fine in that basket Veggielover. If you line it with polythene don't forget to put in plenty of drainage holes. If the carrots start pushing out of the compost cover them over with more compost. Parmex are quite small and you can't afford to have a green bit on the top.
