Apologies for such a basic question
.
I am growing alicante tomatoes plants for the first time
in a tomorite giant growbag and covered in a plastic growbag house,
on the bag it says to avoid piercing the bag but nearly all the
articles i have read says to make two small slits on the underside
I was having a look and it does seem a little water logged at the very base of the bag, even though i haven't watered them since planting out about two weeks ago, when they had about 4 liters spread between the two plants.
the plants have come on quite well although one is growing faster than the
other, so just wondered if i should pierce the bag or not, i have cut the bottom off a 2l water bottle and put a few small holes in it and plan to use that as drip waterer in the middle of the bag, when they actually need some water
