If they are in the ground about 3--4 weeks have a firkel at ground level and see what is there....jacob

If they look big enough to eat, eat them

Unless they're the 18 day radish of course, in which case about 21 days. You'll know when they're big enough to eat, they look like the radishes in the shops.

Last year we tried radish a few times with the same seeds from BQ ,we got enormous 10 inch long leaves and no radish , the leaves made great salad though, i think i may have used miricle grow on them once or twice, im told that was the problem, aparently i should use no fertiliser on radish?

Im not sure starloc mine are sparkler 3 if that means anything, it says harvest approx 4-6 weeks after sowing. Although on the packet it also says that the seedlings wont appear for 7 days and mine were there within 3!! Infact everything i have planted seems to have grown quicker than it should have. Aside from the courgette which has actually taken the longest. They should have been the first thing to have grown and there is still no sign of them. I think i may have to re-think the courgettes.

I found out last year that radish get woody and become less tasty if you leave them too long (I know you all knew that already!), so this year I shall pick them as soon as they look ready.
