  • I pulled my garlic bulbs today, they had collapsed and were starting to yellow sothought I may as well. Wow, I have some amazing bulbs to dry now, a few tiny ones too, but the majority are wonderful!
    My mind works like lightning, One brilliant flash and it is gone!

    • First carrots of the year. Picking lettuce, radish,beetroot,daily now.
      Should be picking peas next week.

                I think I should leave future ones on the plant maybe a day or two longer though...

                And my first pak choi, as full plants for stirfry.

                          • first spuds of the season, red duke of york, with mint, i picked about a pound.
                            plus enough salad leaves and spinach (red bordeaux) for a meal.

                            had pork stir fried with home grown pak choi for lunch too

                            • today i have harvested , mizuna parsley cress and todays special mixed lettuce leaves. in other words a salad, which i will add raddishes picked yesterday to go with lunch on the veranda, as i watch the migrating wild beasts thunder through the car park, from which i have a fine view of.
                              a good put down line to use !

                              If having brains was a fatal disease, you would be the only survivor.

                              • So far this week

                                I have brought in to the house from my new veg plot...
                                four nice size turnips, some Potatoes, radishes, an Iceburg lettuce and a cos lettuce.

                                I now have gaps and will be reseeding some more lettuce and radishes this weekend

                                very well pleased with my little crop!
