I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

    • Today,m I brought home a bag of potatoes, 3 onions, a tub of spinach, once shelled, a tub each of peas and broad beans, 3 lettuces, and a LARge tub of raspberries with a few red and black currnats added in.

\I also took more peas and broadies from the garden today. The carrots in pots are large enough to pull as babies when we want them (well, the second pot, the first is now the third again and barely germinated). And i have plans for a cabbage later this week too!!

                • Pulled my first Carrot of the year today, mainly to see what they were like as they've been completely ignored since sowing (although i did sow fairly thinly), great success - 15cm, straight and no carrot fly damage visible - HURRAH!
