    • Second day on the trot of working at the allotment with my shirt off! Making the most of this abnormal weather.

      Harvested:-

-Nine pumpkins for grandkids halloween parties
-A full carrier bag of mixed toms, large, small and plum.
      -Carrier bag of cooking apples
      -Carrier bag of eating apples
-Carrier bag of mixed peppers both red and green
      - Half a carrier bag of climbing french beans
      -One mahoosive mooli
      -carrier bag of courgettes

Nearly broke my back carrying everything from the allotment except the pumpkins which are drying in the greenhouse!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

      Diversify & prosper

          • Cherry tomatoes, baby sweetcorn, and my first celery (which is weedy and tiny but the bunnies dont mind, still tastes good to them, they went nuts for it). Also collected some nasturtium and borage seeds and a head of dill seeds, that just need to dry a little longer.

Runner beans (2nd crop, beter than 1st), brussel sprouts, parsnips, 15" long in my clay soil, carrots, salsify, fennel, beetroot and leeks. have left the BNS on plants for a bit longer and cabbage and caulis remain on plant and no space in freezer. Tomatoes in polytunnel still going srong and i now have to go and make a load more sauce, pity i like my meat so much as i wish i could be a veggie, certainly save on supermarket bills.
