                  • (Yesterday)

                    • Yet more courgettes, almost the last of the mange tout, beetroot and some Early Nantes carrots (which I think now probably just about justify the word "carrot" rather than "thinnings" which I have logged them as until now).

And finally, finally, finally ....... enough peas to put on a plate!

I don't understand why mange tout have cropped so prolifically and yet peas have done so poorly up until now. I'm a little annoyed to think that we'll be missing out on a deluge of them when we go on holiday at the end of the week.

                              • We're having a stir fry so today I've picked Kale, Spinach, Chard, spring onions, purple podded peas, and a few Walking Onions.

Plus 2lb of Scarlet Empero runner beans for the freezer.
