    • Turnips, onions, garlic, cabbage, sprouting broc, salad, and spring onions. It is all growing so fast hard to keep up with it all.

              • More broadies, first decent crop of peas, carrots and the last of the polytunnel strawbs...and some pots from an early maincrop called Sante, which should be ready yet but was clearly yellow and unwell so I dug it up and will use em like 1st earlies.

                    golden ball turnips
                    rocket
                    baby spinach

                    and simply sautéed in butter with plenty of salt and pepper

                    • Aw maaaan... Just ate my first proper carrot, albeit a small salad one. So tasty. Sorry OITC, I couldn't wait for you to get home.
                      When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
                      If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
